Because the world is filled with folks on the journey, just like us.
We participate with other churches and organizations in our local community to strength the bonds between the people of the White Lake are. We are part of the Muskegon County Council of Cooperating Churches which partner to provide opportunities for area churches to come together for the greater good. Buttons and Bows, a quality preschool, operates in our building.
We participate in the life of the larger church as part of the United Church of Christ (UCC) denomination. The UCC has a strong commitment to projecting God's love through purposeful action-advocating for environmental and social justice, working for peace, and building strong communities.
"It is the responsibility of the church universal to remind the culture in all times and places that Jesus’ life began in a stable, to parents without the protection of citizenship, who fled their home to a foreign land for the first six years of Jesus’ life. You do not have to use your imagination to see Jesus in the face of an immigrant child. He literally was one. Stand up for Jesus wherever you see him."
Peace and Blessings,
Rev. Dr. Lillian Daniels, Conference Minister
